SIEMPRE va a hacer falta carne de cañón, y por 4 duros mas aún. Creo que mucha gente aún ignora que en las PMCs también hay "clases", y que a la clase "alta" no es tan fácil entrar.

La carne de cañón no está a 4 duros, está ya a 3... hasta por 400$ al mes se consiguen keniatas para Iraq.

No hay clase alta ni baja, hay decenas de escalafones. ¿Guardar almacenes en Kuwait? lo más sencillo del mundo en cuanto a requisitos, pagan 65.000$ al año (16$/hora, contando con el mes de vacaciones), pero da acceso a cursos y ya estás en alguna de las empresas que mandan gente a Iraq, a Jordania, a Sudán...

¿Equipos PSD, RRT y QRFs? Esto es lo que más está cambiando, y es que ahora los "antiguos carne de cañón" tienen ya una formación y una experiencia de cojones. Hay ugandeses que llevan 6 años en Iraq, hablan árabe, se conocen Kerbala o Hillah como si fueran sus ciudades natales, han hecho decenas de cursos con EODT, SOC, TC.... ¿para qué contratar a un americano cuando puedes tener equipos mixtos Expat/TCN/LN?

La salida de Iraq lo que ha hecho es aumentar la demanda de personal con una especialización muy alta, no se va a meter a iraquíes en equipos TRAP, ni a TCNs o nadie que no sea estadounidense (o tenga un MRPT como mínimo) como QRF o equipo "Surge" (denominados así) cuando el cliente es el DoS. Pero vamos, que con PMCs iraquíes con una experiencia que ríete de la de la mayoría de tropas OTAN a excepción de los países anglos... cualquiera se mete ya en la "clase media" a menos que esté dispuesto a cobrar lo que un peruano.

Veeeeeeeeeenga lo digo yo, IST son las siglas de Indigenous Security Team, y es que hay un contrato del Departament of Defense que obliga a las dos empresas en activo con el programa de seguridad a disponer de equipos PSD para misiones de perfil bajo donde todo el personal de seguridad debe de ser iraquí o americanos de origen iraquí.

De hecho creo que los dos Team Leader americano-iraquíes que trabajan en estos equipos son los contratistas armados mejor pagados de Iraq, nada como ser uno entre un millón para poder pedir un aumento

Y allí desde hace tiempo, pero en Oriente Medio (y especialmente en Irak) pocos clientes habría que fueran rodeados de iraquíes armados y tan tranquilos

Es una buena señal para los negocios allí, puesto que ganar dinero se impone por encima de cortarle el cuello al infiel, o tener un buen sueldo cada mes se impone a cobrar la recompensa por secuestrar a un occidental. Claro que el que los TL tengan pasaporte americano ayuda, jejeje, que se lo pregunten a cierto presidente que quiere expulsar a todas las PMCs (menos las controladas por su familia y amigos, claro), a ver que pasaportes tienen esos escoltas suyos... por muchos rasgos locales que parezcan tener

Opino sinseramente que difisil no es nada , solo basta un buen contacto para lograr algo ,he buscado por todos lados como poder acceder a la informacion
para poder trabajar con algunas de las conpañias militares exspuesta en diferentes foros y por el momento nada, pero tengo fe que el que busca encontrara y el que pide se le dara , por eso si alguien sabe como lograrlo por favor decirmelo este es mi correo peluama@hotmail.com

Qualifications
Reporting to the Regional VP of Operations and the Head of Global Security, the Head of Regional Security will be the focal point for all security matters within the Latin America and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the Region and its Focus Markets.
• Build strong relationships with key Affiliate personnel and, under the guidance of the Head of Global Security and the VP Ops, ensure that they are briefed on all important security related issues.
• Supporting the Head of Global Security in developing and maintaining policies, best practice and documentation on all security related matters. Understand the key issues and prepare accurate summaries / presentations for the Head of Global Security and the Regional Management Board.
• Brief Regional personnel on personal security measures with particular reference to those most at risk ie those travelling and working in the higher risk locations.
• Ensure appropriate standards of physical security are in place at all Affiliates’ sites and facilities in accordance with Group security policy.
• Establish security awareness and training programs (including fraud and information security) within the Region.
• Ensure that measures are in place to protect and secure the Affiliates’ tangible and intangible assets and confidential data.
• Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of all security related incidents within the Region to the Head of Global Security and the Regional Management Board and keep a “lessons learned” record of all investigations and security related incidents.
• In conjunction with the Group compliance team, undertake or direct sensitive investigations at a Regional level, including fraud or any other subject areas which may impact the reputation of the Group.
• Act as incident coordinator for incidents of a Regional nature and drive business continuity planning and the risk assessment process within the Region.
• Liaise closely with private security providers, external law enforcement agencies and government organisations and maintain a network of contacts in order to keep abreast of current security issues and trends.
• Identify potential security risks to the Region and its interests and ensure that the Regional Management Board is fully briefed and that contingency plans are in place to mitigate these risks.
• Be the Regional focal point for the administration of all out sourced security services in the Region.
• Be proactive in seeking opportunities to add value to the business through the security function.

Candidate Profile

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
• Significant experience in a wide range of security areas (probably government, military or police) covering both investigations and incident management.
• Significant international exposure (within the Region) and a developed sense of cultural intelligence.
• Significant experience of working in a high pressure, results orientated corporate environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an eye for detail.
• Strong team player with a collaborative style, committed to the success of the team.
• Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.
• Proactive and improvement focused.

Our Client is part of a Joint venture working on a large scale multi billion Qatari Riyal project.

They are currently seeking a Security Manager to plan and control the activities of the security team for their main site in Doha, Qatar.
